Wow - what a cool shop!!! After having an absolutely horrible shopping experience at Guitar Center and other large music stores, I decided to shop small and found James G Music. And I am SO glad that I did. They were extremely helpful and hospitable, and helped me to locate the perfect guitar for my daughter. They have a great selection of guitars, instruments, and related accessories plus lesson spaces, a stage, and a recording studio! Please pay them a visit and support this awesome business!

My Granddaughter takes music lessons from James and he is very patient and is an awesome teacher. I Highly recommended this shop for all your music needs.

The best music store ever. Remember when Guitar Center was the place where you went to hang out and meet people, not just to buy stuff? This is that place. You can sit around, play instruments, watch Youtube videos, or just talk music. Take the load off. Stop the hustle for a little while and enjoy music again.

I had several pieces to trade or sell, don’t ask me how a piano player ended up with 3 guitars and an amp to trade! Traded one guitar and amp for a very nice mandolin, I have a bass and guitar on consignment at the moment. It’s very nice to have such a knowledgeable dealer in town that can help me turn things I no longer need into an instrument I wanted. This is a very nice establishment that is just getting started, I can’t wait to see how they grow! I wish James all the luck and success in the world!

Recently visited James G Music for some minor repairs and a setup on a new guitar purchase. Wow! The owner and his wife were incredibly hospitable. Music stores can be intimidating, so finding this shop where the people are patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable Is a breath of fresh air.

This place is amazing, the service here was top notch everyone was so happy and helpful. Not to mention I got a sweet deal on a trade in and was able to afford a sweet new guitar that Ive been playing nonstop. The owner is a real musician, who has studied, practiced, performed all kinds of music all over the place. This is not your average store or sales person. I suggest you to take advantage of this rare gem of a person and musician. You get honest answers, recommendations and service. Its a win for any musician young or old.
